ANDY WELLS

Partner

Andy was formerly a tax partner at the "Big 6" firm of BDO Stoy Hayward for 18 years. Andy's principal role is in solving disputes with HMRC, and providing consulting advice and support to other professional firms. He also provides expert advice and opinions in relation to tax related litigation - principally in relation to allegations of negligence in relation to direct taxation.

Andy has specialised in direct taxation for over 30 years and is one of the very few senior specialists with all-round tax skills and experience in the witness box, both at tribunals and in the High Court.

PAUL BRADLEY

Partner

Paul has previously had a long career with HMR&C and is fully experienced in all aspects of Enquiry and Investigations work in respect of individuals, companies and directors and high net worth individuals. He has also provided a consultancy service to the Accountancy profession in both local enquiries and more serious Special Civil Investigations [(SCI Code of Practice 9.] cases.

Paul has specialised in Direct Taxation over the years but also has experience in Indirect Taxation both in his role as an Inspector and also as a self-employed partner when he ran his own business for eight years.

RYAN SAMPLE

Partner

Ryan is a qualified member of the association of taxation technicians, and brings to AVN Venus Tax experience of predominately income tax matters as well as PAYE, capital gains and the construction Industry Scheme. Ryan is involved in a varied range of HMRC enquiries and disputes ranging from voluntary disclosures to company COP8 enquiries.
